Tim Smale - Central London Stop Smoking
Tim Smale runs our Central London Stop Smoking Lounge.
Prior to becoming a full time mind coach, Tim spent over 20 years in the media and communications industry holding a number of senior management positions. During this time he developed a keen interest in people motivation, leadership and training.
Tim first learnt about hypnosis and the power of the unconscious mind when his son was diagnosed with cancer - quite simply, hypnosis helped him cope.
As a result, he left the corporate zone and trained to become a Clinical Hypnotist, graduating from the Lifeforce School for Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy in London.
Whilst Tim undertakes all forms of positive behaviour enhancement, he specialises in helping clients to stop smoking.
Over the years Tim has helped thousands of smokers stop - easily, gently and comfortably, without any withdrawal symptoms whatsoever.
During this time, Tim created The Stop Smoking Lounge, London's premier smoking cessation clinic and since then he has worked tirelessly on developing its programs to ensure that clients receive a level of service, professionalism and support that is unrivalled in the UK.
Tim lives in Chiswick W4 with his wife and two children.
Steve Burns - North London Stop Smoking
Prior to starting The Therapy Lounge, one of the UK's most successful therapy centres, Steve enjoyed a successful career in business, latterly starting his own publishing and technology business which he floated on the London Stock Exchange in 1999.
Up until June 2002 Steve was smoking 20 a day. However upon the advice of his wife ('advice' obviously being a pseudonym for 'order') he went to see a chap called Tim Smale (see above!).
A long story short, Steve walked away from that session with an inane grin on his face knowing that he was and would always remain a happy, healthy and confident non-smoker. Given the level of scepticism he walked into the session with, this was no mean feat.
Indeed, as a result this experience Steve left the corporate zone to pursue a full time career as a therapist and mind coach.
Steve is 42 and lives in Hampstead with his wife, two kids and Robbie (the dog!).
